Nassra Al Buainain is a multidisciplinary artist, born and based in Abu Dhabi. She obtained her MA in Art History and Museum Studies from Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi. Nassra works with various mediums and disciplines including painting, printmaking, and poetry. Her work explores the notion of spirituality in the human experience; through deconstructed forms she translates the metaphysical existence in relation to time and space.

Exploring duality is centric to her art practice. She is interested in finding the transformative threshold where transition of states occur; between spiritual energy and physical existence, consciousness and subconsciousness, thoughts and manifested forms, time and infinity. Her motive is to create channels between her work and the viewer, and between one another as humans, to navigate our state of mind and being.
